Parents:What’s on your kids christmas list this year?

And how much is it going to be all together?

My 11 year old son would like
-The nintendo wii ( $250.00)
- Nintendo wii AMF bowling game ($29.99)
-A baseball set ( Headgear,grip-gloves,a new mitt, a bat, and a baseball) which comes in one box and is $59.99.
-A new tech deck skate set ( the little skateboards, that come with the ramp and everything) which is $10.99. So the total for my 11 year old son is $480.00 with everything plus some outfits from American Eagle.
My 6 year old daughter would like
-Hannah Montana 9-piece accessory set ($14.27)
-Jumpaline-Jumpagym. It’s a little bouncer that’s indoors/outdoors ($34.73)
-Gator Golf Game ($8.99)
-Hannah Montana Pencil case ( comes with pencils/pens,erasers,and a pencil case) ($5.99)
-Kid tough Digital camera ( $29.99)

I got her all that. They made this on a rainy day in July, so i shopped early, got everything they wanted plus clothes (for the 6 y.o too). My 6 year old daughter’s total is $70.96 with all the things i posted above. With the extra things and clothes i bought her it came out to $168.99. I’d like to tell you moms/dads/grandparents/aunts/uncles a tip. If your kids are bored on a rainy day, tell them to make a christmas list, go out early and buy all of it while it’s on sale and whatnot. It saved me a ton of money. I calculated everything if i had bought it while NOT on sale, and for my son it would’ve been $597.64 and for my daughter it would have been $377.99. Follow that tip, and you’ll save ALOT of money. What about your kids?

Should I buy Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 or Wii Sports Resort?

Tiger Woods is definitely a contender for Sports Game of the Year as said by IGN and I hear that it’s a realistic golf game. Wii Sports Resort has an 8 average and Tiger Woods has an 9 Average score. IGN says that Resort is a tech demo; so basically not a real game. And I think 50 bucks for a minigame collection of ONLY few good and fun minigames and a 20 buck accessory is not worth the price whereas tiger woods for 60 including the motionplus is. But I’m still not sure which 1 i should buy becuz swordplay and ping pong looks good in resort but realistic golf is fun as well.

Mario Kart with Wheel

The venerable kart racer heads to the Wii and adds online competition to the mix.

Mario Kart Wii will include 16 new courses and 16 classic courses from previous Mario Kart games. For the first time ever, players have the option of racing with either karts or motorbikes. Players can also hit the road as their personalized Mii caricatures in addition to the handful of classic Nintendo characters found in the game. True to the series, the game features tons of racing, plenty of power-ups and oodles of objects for players to use to slow down other drivers. And 10 battle arenas will keep players busy between trips around the circuit.

The easy-to-use Wii Wheel will also be sold as a separate accessory, giving every driver in the household a chance to get behind his or her own wheel. And if veteran Mario Kart fans are afraid of getting smoked by rookie drivers using the Wii Wheel, they can rest assured that Nintendo has them covered. Mario Kart Wii supports four different control options: Wii Remote with or without the Wii Wheel, Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller combo, Classic Controller and even the Nintendo GameCube controller. So there’s bound to be a configuration that fits everyone’s style.

Mario Kart Wii launches with a new channel added to the Wii Menu to enhance game play: The Mario Kart Wii Channel. This new channel builds on the huge online community of Wii owners and lets players compete in tournaments, check worldwide rankings, see when their friends are playing and download ghost data.

What is the better golf store for gift cards: Golf Galaxy or Golfsmith?

I am going to buy my boyfriend $100 gift card to one, but I have never been in either store….just wondering…what is the difference between the stores?

I don’t care about online shopping because I know he will not do that…..but both stores are by his house and I don’t know which to choose…I wanted to buy one online.

I know he cannot get much with $100 but hopefully some accessories, clothes, balls, etc..

Which store would be better and what is the differene between the two?

Thanks

May Wedding On The Golf Course.?

I am having a vintage 1930’s attire theme combined with our earth friendly lifestyle. The ceremony will be private and personal. But the reception is where I am putting the money. Like the ceremony, it will be outdoors, draped canopies over 10 tables surrounding my dance floor. Also there will lights intertwined with the drapes over head to symbolize the night sky and a bigger ball of light symbolizing the moon. I want to do a lot of soft purple uplighting in spots. i just don’t know what to do for the entry way or how I should set up my tables. Any ideas on what to do for my earthy reception?

Santa’s bringing a Wii?

Pardon my ignorance, but my 6 and 5 year old’s are asking Santa for a Wii this year. Today at Costco I bought a “sports pack” accessory for a Wii that contains a steering wheel, tennis racket, baseball bat and golf club. I do not yet have the Wii itself and there are 4 of us. I believe the “bundles” that are sold at Costco contain the Wii console and 2 controllers, but I don’t know what games come with it, etc. I’m lost! Any suggestions?
