I have a group of friends that are looking to take a weekend trip to play golf. Some of us live in Chicago and others live in St. Louis so anywhere close.

My husband often takes trips up to Blue Mountain on his own, now as a family we all ski and snowboard. We have been happily married for 15 years, but it bothers me that he takes it upon himself to go up for the day without giving much thought to the others. Is this okay or am I being selfish. I know some men golf and perhaps he just want to be on his own. What does everyone think. Is this ok?

I have been privilaged to be a part of only a few court proceedings. In “all” cases (business and divorse related cases) it just seemed to me that while I was ready to get it over and out of my life so that I “and the court” could move on with our lives…it didn’t move on. It was as if it would go on and on and on…you get the picture. I do know and I am aware that there are circumstances that can contribute to slowing things down. I’m not addressing this issue. What I do want to address and ask you is based on my own personal observations. It appeared to me that it was the Judges and or the attorneys themselves that were the “major” but not the total part of the problem. After all I have heard it said, by others, over my life time that the courts are a host of “strange bed fellows”, no puns of any kind intended. What has been your and prehaps some or your friends experiences in having to wait when there truly seems to not be any reason…except for deep sea fishing trips and golf!

So what is the general thought on strip clubs. My husband goes maybe once a year and only if there is a bachelor party, golf trip etc. Some of my friends say its cheating but I don’t know if I would go that far, maybe a private dance is cheating. I have a hard time deal with the thought that a man gives the hard earned family income away to some random girl. I have nothing against strippers, the have more guts than me. Just looking for your thoughts. Thanks!

4 of us are planning a trip in April. We are all good golfers (+3 to 9 handicap). We are looking to play 3/4 rounds of golf on good courses and enjoy a nice local hotel or some sort of accommodation. I don’t really know where to start looking online. Appreciate any recommendations….
