    its for accuracy not distance

  • poriera192:

this looks like a excellent tip but wil it lead to less distance?

I can hit my P, 9,8 irons fine, but then 7 to 5 are not very excellent. Reflect i’m making a common mistake of some how??

i was wondering if you can help me im striking the ball preety much straight in the air my 7 iron uslayy 160 is now my pitching wedge distance can u help me????

  • MuleMoron:

i always fade my hybrid and low irons when i hit them any tips?

  • barrypowergolfpro:

Make sure you keep your right knee the same flex.
Any straighting of the right knee and leg leads to the whole body lifting up during the swing.

Try to place the ball more off the center of your body you will have a better chance of striking the ball first.

If that does not work send me a video of your swing.

i top all my long irons and hybrids. they never go anywhere! any tips for not topping the ball?

  • marlowfu:

Thanx for the refresher, i will remember that, cheers

  • barrypowergolfpro:

You might be tightening up the body when you go out to play.
On a range you get to warm up and dont really care if the first ten shots are excellent or terrible.
But when your on the course the first 10 shots are so vital.

Make sure you hit balls for 30 minutes before you play.

  • donkeydickkk:

nice but way exaggerated wiggle lol

  • marlowfu:

why when i practice i play spot on, but just been in a competition and i could not hit irons? they just went right, like flew right, hard slice why?

  • jeffmixon:

Sure it is. It helps you practice keeping the hands ahead of the clubhead. Some of my crisper irons shots are the ones where I have to do a punch shot. Why? Because I really have to hit down on the ball while keeping my hands ahead. This drill will help the muscle memory of doing that imo.
