Keep score the same as normal golf. Par 3 golf is basically every hole is a par 3
1 = hole in one
2 = birdie
3 = par
4 = bogey
5 = double bogey
6 = triple bogey
The name says it all…. PAR 3. Each hole is a par 3, at the end of each hole record the number of strokes it took you to complete the hole and then go to the next. After 9 holes you can add up your strokes and see how you did on the “front nine”. If you did well don’t change anything, if you didn’t… try a new plot of attack. No matter what happens always remember…. a terrible day on the golf course is always better than a excellent day in the office (or classroom).
These guys are right on. The only thing different is that ALL the holes are par 3′s. You score it the same as always and you most likely will not use all the clubs in your bag so it’s lighter. Also here are some par 3 courses that do not have carts just walking. Lastly par 3 courses are not “usually” in as excellent shape as a regulation course. Notice I say “usually” because it’s not ALWAYS the case. Hope this gives you a small heads up.
You start on tee box # 1. Count every stroke you make at the ball from the time you drive it from the tee box until you tap it in the hole on the green. That is where you see the flag staff.. Record that score on the score card for the first hole.. Do the same for each of the other holes you play and record the strokes taken . After you have finished the nine holes, add the total strokes taken and that will be your score.

They are going to give you a scorecard.
It shows par for the course. You record your REAL score. Same as any other par 72.
