    so do i-
don’t place a lot of energy from your arms into your swing-use your whole body. i went home a few weeks ago feeling like i had dislocated them.

  • qwest_qat:

Just get drunk first, you’ll be fine

  • Mike P:

    dont forget your patience!

  • drdemento61:

i suggest you watch the movie caddyshack before going…..remember….”BE THE BALL”

  • mcdswimr:

Look at your grip and don’t go your head when you swing.

    Excellent Luck!

First of all you need to have a positive attitude, relax wind your shoulder so that you will not ache later. Do not over hit the ball – it’s all technique – simply swing, and always look at the ball. ps: it’s better you hit it small, than losing the ball!

I don’t golf, but I play pool a lot and I have found that my state of mind or attitude has a lot to do with how well I play. Just have fun, don’t be hard on yourself and use every terrible swing as an opportunity to learn instead of a reason to get mad or down.

Keep your head on the ball. Don’t try and watch it after you hit it. Let your golfing partner watch where it goes.

Don’t grip the club too tight. Relax, and have fun!

  • Gunggalakawabangga:

Don’t swing the golf stick to high, or else ;;well that’s not gonna be excellent.TRUST ME I REMEMBERED MY FIRST GOLFING TRIP WITH MY FATHER.Take it slowly and do not baggy FOCUS!Excellent luck.

The key to a perfect swing is relaxing, measuring the ball, never losing sight of the ball and try putting your left pinky over your left thumb it helps to get a better grip. Also bend your knees a small bit and keep your left arm straight.

Golf isnt about strength its about technique and patience.

    HAVE FUN!

yes i have, keep your eye one the ball and never try to hit it too hard. I used to try and smash the ball but your whole body goes out of shape. Keep your body relaxed and take a nice simple swing and try and hit the ball cleanly. Once you become more proficient with that then you can try putting more power into it. Ps Dont try too hard and delight in the walk OK. Excellent luck.

  • raregmc:

Take a lot of balls with you

  • shanylie2:

Relax and watch the ball. Here should be some golfing on television you can watch.

dont worry about slicing the ball…
dont hit to hard, it’s not baseball. I tend to hold the club way to tight. dont reflect of anything other than looking at your ball and visualise lifting it in the air.

Best tip ever: while playing DO NOT LISTEN TO EVERYONE telltale you how to do this and that, coz you’ll just reflect about that. Seriously your body will find it’s way genuinely. leave the technic for a lot later

remember, long shot are only half of the job, the tough part can really be the putting…it’s not like putt-putt.

normally people play best ball, so dont worry.
otherwise you’ll take to long and people behind will get pissed. dont spend hours tiresome to find your ball, so have lots of them. make sure you bring water or at least buy some here. 18 holes can be very tiering and here is no shame in saying you,ve had enough and you’re passing on some hole.
security wise and etiquette make sure you remain behind eyesight of the person playing. check the rules for when you’re ride in those cart you dont want to get caught by the marshall.
mostly delight in your time outside and riding those golf cart is so much fun lol

You won’t be any excellent. Have no illusions. So, to get along with the others golfers, do these three equipment.

    1. Take lots and lots of balls.
    2. Don’t spend time looking for lost balls.
    3. Keep up(Most vital of all)

    Ten points, please.

Learn to use the word “golf” the way those who play it do. They use “golf” as a noun, not a verb. They “play” golf, rather than golf or go golfing.

Since its your first time don’t expect to be Tiger Woods. Here are a couple tips to help you on the ocurse. When on the tee if any negitive view creep into your mind just step away from your ball and regroup. If people are standing behind you remember that they will forget your shot excellent or baf 5 minutes after you hit it. On or around the green remember that if the ball dosen’t go past the hole here is no way it can go in. SO NEVER BE SHORT. finally have fun its held to be a game and remember your NOT ON THE PGA.

Just delight in yourself. Golf is a game for life. Childish and ancient.

  • dpsref:

Wear bright orange slacks and a lime green shirt. That way I can make sure I won’t play behind you!
