I’ve used it before… nothing special about it. It just shows how the ball will travel off the clubface. It will help improve your face angle at impact (how open or closed the face is) but it won’t help with swing path much. It is possible to slice the ball with a squared impact position if the club is coming across the ball. If you are square and coming across the ball with the training aid, it will still spin straight.

Some golfers don’t know why despite a lot of practice they can’t improve or their gains are only minor. The answer is quite simple. If any one of the proper mechanics of your swing isn’t right, you can practice all day and you’re not going to improve. In fact, you could even be doing more harm than excellent. This is because you are building terrible swing habits into your muscle memory.

If you are doing something incorrect in your golf swing, then the groover may help change it, or it may help groove that terrible swing permanently.

I prefer something like the Medicus that uses natural body swing mechanics to generate a proper swing. Helps with strength too.

Levelheaded contact can only be seen at the golf driving range or on a golf simulator (here are some inexpensive ones). I don’t reflect the groover is the way to go.

See your local pro, take some lessons and practice what he or she teaches you. No gimic or aid is going to teach you how to swing. Practice does NOT make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect. don’t groove in terrible swing habits
